Cathedral Choir Members participate in weekly rehearsals and training on a Thursday night. As we enjoy the high quality and variety of accompaniment offered by the rebuilt Cathedral Organ, our range of musical offerings is being extended and increased. We hope to have in place a regular pattern of Choral Evensong, Communion Settings, Sung Matins and occasional Carol Services as the seasons demand.
David Falconer, Cathedral Organist, trains and accompanies the Choir with the assistance of Louie and Rachel, two members of the choir, who deputise for David at the console.
The Organ was rebuilt By Trevor Crowe and Co and was dedicated for use on September 20th 2009. Some minor additions are still planned for completion in the very near future. New members of the choir are always welcome following contact and agreement with the organist.
