COVID-19 UPDATE: Church services resume online until at least the end of March.

Welcome to Dromore Cathedral

Dromore Cathedral has been at the heart of Dromore for centuries. We serve the community of Dromore by bringing Christ’s compassion, love and hope of salvation to people of all ages.

Just as relevant as ever, we believe Christ and his radical teaching to be the only solution to the problems of our country, town and selves. We invite you to join us on our journey as we discover how to be everything he called us to be.

Trip to Maridi - Sunday 27th October to Thursday 7th November 2024

It is a with genuine sense of joy that the Rector is able to communicate with you all that there is a Diocesan team from Down and Dromore travelling to Maridi on the above dates.

This opportunity has arisen as a result of appeal on the Diocesan website and through CMS but has ended up consisting of our Rector, Geoff as well as Jeremy Bowden, Ian Cardy and Nick Davies - all from Dromore Cathedral!

The team will be working in Bethsaida Clinic, delivering training in Prayer Ministry and running workshops for preachers and teachers, both lay and ordained.

Not all of us can travel to a place like our link Diocese of Maridi, but all of us can support those who do. Please do pray for the team as they finalise preparations over the coming months and please do support the team as they seek to raise half of the team costs through a series of fundraisers;

• Car Boot Sale, May in the Cathedral Hall
• Lap of Lough Neagh by bike, Saturday 14th September
• Talent Night/Auction of talents, Saturday 28th September
• Car Boot Sale, September at the Cathedral Hall

In the coming weeks we will mark Trevor's service throughout those years in a manner which is befitting with a farewell service and appropriate celebration.
